Lottery Licences

You can apply for a lottery licence in the Municipality of Wawa if you belong to an organized charity or non-profit organization. If an organization is planning a lottery event, all licensee requirements must be fulfilled before the Municipality can issue a lottery license.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario is responsible for administering the lottery licensing program in the province.

There is a minimum two (2) week period during which time the Municipality reviews the organization's file for compliance. If there are required documents that have not been submitted, the organization must provide the documentation before a license can be issued. This may delay the issuing of the license.
